Look at that.....
Another month has gone by! I have tried to post twice--some fairly long entries, but every time I do this in MSN Explorer and try to upload a picture, it makes MSN crash. ARGH! So, we'll see how it works when I use IE.
Easter was good. The boys were up early, found their baskets and eggs. We played outside, took a walk, and had a YUMMY dinner! Jason made salmon for himself and the boys, and I had sea bass. It was one of the best pieces of fish ever! Jason also made these garlic spicy shrimp that were amazing, and he baked an apple pie for dessert. He's becoming quite the cook : ).
I took the boys to Casper last Monday, to meet mom and sis. They are enjoying spring break in Buffalo. Mom has the Dancing With the Stars game for the PS2, and I guess Brecken is a little dancing machine on it! I saw a short video dad took, and it was too cute! Jason and I will head to Casper tomorrow morning to pick them up, then it's back to the school grind Monday.
We had to get a new washing machine at the beginning of the month, and it's now leaking some water from underneath! I called Whirlpool, and someone is coming out Monday morning to check it out. Thank goodness it's still under warranty. I just hope this person can actually find something, because after I noticed it leaking the first time, I did 2 or 3 more loads and it didn't leak. A week later, it leaked again.
I have not done much at all during this last week, besides play a lot of Toontown and watch tv. I am totally addicted to Toontown now, and I never thought I would get into it. I have a toon on Breck's account, so can only play if he's not. Jason just bought both boys accounts on Club Penguin, so they've been really into that lately! I have gotten Peyton to help me on Toontown a couple times. I'm still reading a lot, although I slacked off this last week. I'm on book 7 of the Southern Vampire series--All Together Dead. The new one comes out in May, and I put a hold on it at the library. I am going to read another series by Charlaine Harris, that starts w/Grave Surprise, I think. I'm also reading some Buffy books. Jason and I watched "30 Days of Night", which I bought w/out seeing it first. It was pretty good, but a little disappointing at the end. It's strange how every movie seems to do a different take on the vampire thing. It really bothered me that these vamps could walk into homes without being invited. They did make some cool noises though! LOL :)
I worked 3 days at the school last month, and have at least one coming up this month. I'll be in the office, which is where I've been the most. We have a few things going on in April, like me hosting bunco, the boys' reading program ceremony (they get medals), "Donuts for Dads" at school, and the end of bowling (FINALLY!). I get to bowl the last week, since Dana will be gone, and I'm going to the fun night when they do payouts. I imagine we'll be getting calls soon for baseball. Both boys are signed up, and we had Peyton switch teams, so waiting to hear who the coaches are. It's going to be so crazy w/them both playing!
My biggest, most exciting news of the moment is that I got tickets to Duran Duran in Denver on May 12!! Sis is going w/me. Since I'm in the fanclub, I was able to get them on presale. I was working that day, so sis got them. We will be somewhere in rows 6-13, right down front! I would have loved to have done VIP, which is rows 1-5, and some other perks, but just couldn't do it for $375 a ticket!
I guess that about catches things up for the time being. I'm going to catch up on some reading while I wait for Jason to get home. He moved offices at work, and went to finish that this morning. We are heading to the bowling alley at 12:30 for a tourney he's doing, then have to go to Dana's for a murder mystery party tonight (which I REALLY don't want to do!!).
